Since the early 1990s Michael has been teaching workshops and seminars in Europe and the USA on all aspects of photography, including digital editing and painting with Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter.
He now holds workshops in San Diego and at hosting studios around the country.

Occasionally you find multi-faceted individuals who are recognized on the world stage but this term in itself does not remotely cover the knowledge and broad spectrum of capabilities in one individual. For starters Michael Campbell was born and educated in England.
He has a degree in Geology from Leicester University which accounts for his technical expertise in his major interest - photography.
Rarely is one talented equally in both Art and Science, but when these capabilities are blended together, then everything he touches is transformed in to a spectacular accomplishment.
The buzz word today is DIGITAL and here is where his genius is in the forefront. With his lead in this area he has risen to new heights in fashion, interiors, family photography, babies , ballet, architecture, landscape or you name it Michael is there. Taking almost any subject in any setting the subject can be transformed magically into the inspiration you intended.
Most of the photos heir in have been executed digitally. This new technology makes many things possible with the family photos, weddings, trips, not to mention what can be done in the world of science.
Photography in itself ia a blend of art and Science. Perhaps Michael’s most poignant talent is his appreciation of real beauty.
His eye for detail is attuned to perfection. There is no detail that goes unnoticed. It’s the kind of talent that makes a masterpiece. Once you have a Michael Campbell photograph it does what it is supposed to do - look like an original painted portrait.
This ability is reflected in his teaching skills which is an ongoing effort.

Campbell has been teaching world-wide for many years, conducting workshops to help photographers. He has been under contract to Eastman Kodak and is currently retained by Image Arts.
He is an active member of PPA - Professional Photographers of America and appears frequently in the magazine.
